Account and project information you provide — name, email, project type, location, square footage, scope and timeline — used to generate estimates and match you with architects.
Communications and files exchanged on-platform, including messages, drawings, comments and milestone approvals, so both sides have a single record of the engagement.
Usage and device data collected automatically, such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, to keep the service secure and improve it.
2. How we use information
To operate the platform: estimating a typical price range, surfacing qualified architects licensed in your jurisdiction, and supporting scoping and introductions.
To protect the platform through licensure verification, fraud prevention, and enforcement of our terms.
To communicate with you about your projects, and — where permitted — about relevant guides, features and offers you can opt out of at any time.
4. Jurisdiction data
Our jurisdiction database scores cities and counties on permit complexity using public regulatory sources. Your individual project location is used to price and match, and is never published as part of that database.
5. Your choices & rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your account information, and opt out of marketing communications. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.

6. Data security & retention
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and where appropriate we will notify you directly.
